New Seafood Menu at The Harvest Room, Fairmont Hotel Macdonald; Indulge with a Culinary Experience in Downtown Edmonton.

A Conxeppt Review:

The Harvest Room at Fairmont Hotel Macdonald offers a warm and inviting atmosphere; enjoy stunning views of the North Saskatchewan River Valley. Their commitment to using fresh ingredients from their own herb garden is evident in the authenticity of their locally-inspired award-winning cuisine. The restaurant's wine list features a carefully curated international label selection that perfectly complements the menu.

Conxeppt enjoyed Chef Jiju's new seafood menu, which did not disappoint.

The house-marinated olives and grilled sourdough bread were a delightful start to the meal, with the bread being warm and fresh.

The seared scallop on the half shell with XO sauce, topped with miso foam and squid ink tuile, was an elegant and world-class dish.

The salmon gravlax, served with pickled shallots, capers, crisps, and buttermilk mustard dressing, was a tasteful and exciting choice.

The albacore tuna, served with fried wonton, Asian pear, jicama, ponzu vinaigrette, and crushed avocado, was a sophisticated and timeless dish.

The grilled garlic prawns, cooked in olive oil, white wine, and chili, were a simple and delicious choice.

The grilled octopus, served with patata bravas, harissa aioli, chorizo, and green olives, was an eclectic and delicious mix of flavours.

The lobster risotto, made with English peas, mascarpone cheese, and fried kale, was a creamy and delicious dish with a big portion size.

Finally, the sticky toffee pudding with bourbon butterscotch, candied pecan, and vanilla ice cream was exceptional.

Overall, Conxeppt highly commends trying the new seafood menu at The Harvest Room in Fairmont Hotel Macdonald, as the food is delicious, beautifully presented, and served in a dynamic setting.
