There’s something about a coffee shop in the winter—stepping in from the cold, wrapping your hands around a warm cup, watching the steam rise as you settle in. And in the summer? It becomes a destination, a place to connect with friends, soak in the atmosphere, and let time slow down just enough for a meaningful conversation. Whatever the season, coffee culture thrives on presence, and presence is best accompanied by style.
The reality is that you don’t have to default to athleisure every day. Comfort is important, but it should never come at the cost of self-expression. Style is about confidence, refinement, and showing the world who you are. Whether it’s a well-tailored blazer, a cashmere sweater, or the perfect pair of tailored trousers, dressing with intention elevates how you look and feel. So next time you step out for coffee, make it an occasion. Here are a few of my favorite coffee spots in Edmonton, where the vibe is just as strong as the espresso.

Square One Coffee – The Maple Latte
- Locations: 15 Fairway Drive NW, Edmonton, AB | 11007 Jasper Ave, Edmonton, AB Square One Coffee is a staple, with two locations in Edmonton for ultimate convenience. Whether you’re in between meetings or grabbing something on the go, their Maple Latte is a must-try. The balance of sweetness and espresso is spot on, making it a great pick-me-up in any season.
Bonjour Bakery – The Best Cappuccino (And a Baguette to Go)
- Location: 9915 82 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB Not a coffee shop in the traditional sense, but if you know, you know. Bonjour Bakery serves what I consider the best cappuccino in town. While you’re there, grab a baguette or my personal favorite—the black olive sourdough. There’s something old-world and timeless about sipping a perfect cappuccino while carrying a fresh baguette under your arm. It’s European elegance right here in Edmonton.
Eleanor & Laurent (Currently Closed) / Kaffa Roasting House – Parisian Elegance
- Location: 10047 80 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB If you loved the charm of Eleanor & Laurent on Whyte Ave, their roasting house, Kaffa, is the next best thing. It’s a hidden gem with an old-world aesthetic that makes you want to linger a little longer. The space is grand, the décor dapper, and the coffee? Excellent.
DOSC – The Traditional Macchiato
- Location: 10328 Jasper Ave, Edmonton, AB By day, DOSC is an elevated coffee shop; by night, it transforms into one of the best steakhouses in Edmonton. This is your spot if you’re looking for a proper, no-frills macchiato served with elegance. The ambiance is refined and sophisticated, making it the perfect setting for those who appreciate the finer things in life.
Common Grounds Coffee – New & Notable
- Location: 9912 79 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB A newer addition to the Edmonton coffee scene, Common Grounds Coffee, is making waves with its in-house gourmet baked goods. Pairing one of their fresh pastries with a well-crafted espresso is a great way to start the day—or take a well-deserved afternoon break. Try the Tiramisu Latte for a rich, indulgent coffee experience.
Aria Coffee Shop – Classic Favorites & Desserts
- Location: 10330 80 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB Aria Coffee Shop is for those who love classic flavors and well-executed desserts. Whether you're in the mood for a well-pulled espresso or a rich, decadent treat, Aria delivers.
So next time you step out for coffee, take the opportunity to dress up a little. A sharp coat, a well-fitted blazer, or even just a pocket square can set you apart. Style isn’t about blending in—it’s about showing up, standing out, and making an impression. Your coffee is bold. Your style should be, too.

I hope you enjoy my favorites!
