So you’ve been stuck inside away from all of life’s wonders outside? I get it. I like to use the excuse of ‘social distancing’ to further my Netflix addiction. Well read no further than this glorious blog, because ultimately we want you reading less and binge watching more.
5. Castlevania
Okay I get it, you don’t watch cartoons – you’re an adult. Guess what? You’re missing out big time. Adult cartoons are some of Netflix’s biggest rising shows of 2020. Take for example Castlevania. This show is about as kid friendly as your local neighbourhood’s strip club. It’s got it all from vampires, to magic, to over-the-top bloody fights and more! Episodes are also short and sweet. It will only take you a short time to binge the 3 fantastic seasons currently available. Enjoy!
4. Ozark
Jason Bateman and Laura Linney play a married couple with some issues (what married couple doesn’t have some issues though?). Both of them are involved in the cartel, like big time involved. That’s only scraping the iceberg when it comes to this show, if you haven’t already heard of it please do yourself a favour and check it out. If you’re even a little bit of a fan of breaking bad or arrested development check this out! It’s like a mix between the two in a weird drug laundering way.

3. Tiger King
What makes the kitty purr? This documentary looking into the abuse and crazy world of big cats and other endangered animals throughout the states is wild. We have a meth using, polyamorous, red-neck, flamboyant, gun-touting, mullet-wearing tiger king as our central lead character. If that character description doesn’t sell you, then maybe the fact the show brings up a 20 year old unsolved potential murder case that leaves you wondering – ‘When do I get my own tiger?’. Check this out if you are a fan of murder mysteries, crazy characters, real-life drama and documentaries. Strap in tiger, you’re in for a wild ride.
2. Night on Earth
I got to throw in some of that nature documentary stuff, because wow is it every beautiful. I know these types of shows put certain people to sleep (you know who you are), but there is such a beauty in turning off your lights, putting on a show like this and enjoying nature and mother earth for what she has to offer. The show is similar to other nature shows but takes place at nighttime and goes into all the fantastic creatures that thrive during the night all around the world. It’s a beautiful show, you get to learn about many unique animals and it’s totally immersive. Give this one a shot, but take it slow and enjoy it.

1. Master of None
Master of none? More like master of all! Am I right? eh? eh…? I had to put in a little throwback show here because it’s just that good. Master of None follows around a semi-real life Aziz Ansari as he deals with everyday issues around fashion, music, comedy and women. It’s one of the more brilliant shows out there, and with only two seasons it’ll be a quick quarantine binge. You won’t regret giving this a watch.
